Sony anounced PlayStation Plus subscription service with three tiers. Sony has announced a major overhaul of the web-based PlayStation Plus service, which will now include additional levels that will provide a collection of games users can install and enjoy and integrate its cloud-based PlayStation Now service. The first new tier is PlayStation Plus Essential, the current PlayStation Plus service.
It comes with all the similar benefits, like two monthly games that can be downloaded and online multiplayer access cloud saves and discounts. Pricing will also remain at $10 monthly, $25 every quarter and $60 annually. All current PlayStation Plus users will be transferred to this tier. The next level is where the fun begins. It’s called PlayStation Plus Extra, and this level offers all the advantages of the Basic tier. It also gives customers access to up 400 PS5 and PS4 titles available for download or plays at any moment as long as their subscription is in effect. The list covers PlayStation Studios titles as well as third-party games. PlayStation Plus Extra is the PlayStation Plus Extra tier is priced at $15 per month, 40 per cent quarterly, and $100 annually.

There’s also PlayStation Plus Premium, which is the highest priced option. It includes all advantages of the Essential and Extra levels and adds 340 more titles to the catalogue of games. This collection contains PS3 games that can be played on the cloud, and PS1, PS2, and PSP games that can be played either locally or in the cloud. In addition, there is an option of a trial period that lets users play a variety of games for a certain amount of time before deciding to purchase. This plan is available for $18 a month, 50 per cent quarterly, and $120 per year. Every existing PlayStation Now customer will be moved to this plan. PlayStation Now will also cease being a stand-alone service.

The rest of the plans will be identical to the Premium level. This new PlayStation Plus plan will be launched in a gradual method.
